Epic Games Officially Unleashes Bulletstorm
The "secret" project underway at Heroic poem Games that is not Gears of War 3 has been official as Bulletstorm.
It's a shame that secrets can't seem to be unbroken in the videogame industry anymore. Poem's Cliffy B really wanted the reveal of Bulletstorm to be a surprise, just information technology was unveiled proterozoic as the game on the side by side cover of Game Informer. Now, Heroic officially announced Bulletstorm and told the mankind what the deal is with the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC claim scheduled for 2011.
Though it was basically already noted, Bulletstorm was confirmed to constitute coming out of Epic Games studio People Can Fly, creators of the Painkiller FPS series. Bulletstorm is as wel a FPS that will use Unreal Locomotive 3, and by the sound of it introduces a system that rewards players supported on style. Players will "kill with acquisition" using the "skillshot" system that rewards creativity and introduces what Epic describes atomic number 3 "yell-inducing satisfaction." Executing a worthy skillshot will present points that can live used to promote characters and unlock weapons. Also mentioned were "outrageously large guns," which are never a bad affair.
Bulletstorm follows Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato, members of a mercenary dance orchestra known as Dead Repeat that exists to protect a futuristic confederation. Hunt and Sato are betrayed away their commander and exiled to an abandoned planet inhabited aside mutants and cannibals that they must escape with all their fingers and toes attached. They in all probability wouldn't psyche putting a bullet between the eyes of that commander either.
EA is career Bulletstorm "an completely new get for shooter fans," and these early details make it seem at least part that way. It would be welcomed if People Arse Flee and Epic can introduce some playfulness, new mechanics into the FPS genre.
